Hawaii travel?

We want to go to Maui for sure. What is the best time of year to go, and why? We are thinking November. Where is the best place to stay on Maui, and why? Price is not an option.

1. summer. but it might be too crowded by tourists, but the weather will be awesome. i went there. maui is beautiful, but dont go 2 waikiki bcuz it sux there.
2. I was in Maui a few years ago in August and it was quite nice, but anytime of year would be great. The much touted luxury resort area of Maui, Wailea, is not all that it's cracked up to be. Sure, the resorts are big and fancy, but the beach quality is less than desirable. If you want the best of both worlds, venture a little farther up the coast to the Kaanapali or Kapalua area. Here, you will find great resorts and great beaches. (The Rtiz Carlton Kapalua is supposed to be fantastic.)
3. The Four Seasons - stayed there for our honeymoon and it was awesome. On the property is Spago - really amazing food. They have a great spa, good sunset views, fun pool area. Nov sounds as good a time as any.
